I would say that I have little experience with ICT, especially when using it in the classroom. I am able to use my pc on a daily basis to plan and create (limited) activities. I also use the internet to finds resources and other popular programs.
In doing this course I hope to develop a media unit that will allow me to integrate computers and ICT into my classroom. I am interested to learn about what a wiki is and how I can use it to best suit my needs. I would also like to have a more indepth understanding of programs such as publisher, power point, exel, easyteach and any others that would benefit me.

I tried out an idea from my main unit and thought it would be a great tool to use during the introduction of the unit and also at the end to see how the students ideas changed in the process of the unit. I would plan to keep this tool in my unit, however I would add more detail to the final activity. The visual ranking tool would assist students in using higher order thinking skills as well as using negotiation and discussion to come up with an agreed response. I would like to think of ways to better use this tool and implement it more throughout the course of the unit.
